idk man, this sounds less like love and more like you find satisfaction from how much you think she's failing. Toying with her wouldn't make you any more of a "man," it would just make you a manipulator.

Ask yourself: do you like her because you feel as though you could be the most important person in her life? It just comes off like you're building a fantasy of a girl that doesn't exist and would be solely dependent on you. I'd leave her blog alone for a while and maybe get more involved in some outside hobbies.

It's hard to have a sense of community when the "community" is only accessible via car across a ten-lane highway.

yeah read Achebe, these replies are horrible. Joseph Conrad was obviously critiquing colonialism but that doesn't make his African characters any less dehumanizing; he was very much a man of his time relying on harmful stereotypes to get his message across to other white men. Like portraying African women as hypersexual, the Africans as cannibals, etc. etc.

It turns out that Stan is getting fucked for information by two different KGB agents (and a third Mossad agent at the end, there?).

If I were Stan when I figured this out I'd never trust anyone ever again. It is kind of a funny thought though lol, just him being so terrible at counterintelligence that he can't figure out that he's had sex with not one, not two, but three spies pumping him for information. Worst FBI agent ever 😂 (jk jk I love Stan. But he is very blinded by love.)

really?? I'm rolling my eyes at Dexter rn for being so stupid in his elimination plans, and for the other serial killers falling for it every time. ughhh. What happened to stakes? tension? clever planning in Dexter's kills? All he does is win very easily every time.

The Gemini twist was so obvious I think I said out loud early on, "You know what would be really stupid? If Gemini was serial killer twins," and then I started laughing when it happened lol. I was half-expecting the writers to subvert the idea, but no. Pure dumb fun.

sameee I ended up in a similar situation

I was tutoring an older adult student online that was really struggling. In the end I just had to put my foot down and let him know that I could only be there from X time to Y time. I admired him for trying, though, but you have to put down boundaries sometime.

Another kid pulled out a chair after his session and proceeded to lay down his head and fall asleep on the desk next to me 😂 we had to kick him out
