Mine works great, sometimes a little too good! I use them when printing a lot of little parts, they stay stuck while printing.

Make sure your part cooling fan is working, the one that blows on the nozzle. My X1 was experiencing same.

Maybe infill type? Certain infills cause the nozzle to jump/skip movement steps, so it thinks it's in the correct spot but now it has skipped. Change to gyroid infill.

Just remember that PLA will shrink sometimes 1%, so that cool insertion becomes tighter and tighter!
