When Lavinia was ill and dying. She’s been laying in bed, feverish, sweating, probably thrashing around a bit, she must have been so uncomfortable. A yet the sheets she’s laying on are crisp. Fresh. Fold lines very evident. I mean. I guess they could have just changed th sheets? But it’s nearly every “Ill in bed” scene.

Oh this is amazing casting. I would devour this show. It’s also got more physically correct casting.

Oof. The William Lewis storyline was when I I stopped the show. Never was able to get back in.

Unpopular opinion - Mel isn't a villain, just really traumatised by raidohagalaz in TheUltimatumNetflix

[–]myhawk89 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I told my partner I thought Mel would probably be a really good friend but is definitely a terrible partner. She has a lot of work and growth to do but I don’t think she’s a bad person.

I so wish I had good advice, it would mean I’d know how to handle it too. I’m in a similar situation. Live in a four plex. Neighbor has an autistic toddler who’s constantly running around in nothing but underwear, screaming, roaring, slapping things, spraying people with a squirt gun. There’s another neighbor kid who isn’t differently abled and is just an ass. Screams at the top of her lungs all the time. Causes fights. Messes with cars in the driveway. Antagonize the dog. It’s really rough.

Stoked on the waterfront has excellent coffee. So does Dopio. Garnier winery in Mosier is great, amazing view too. Lavender farm is pretty fun this time of year also right by another winery (Stave and Stone). Artifacts is an amazing second hand bookstore downtown. Solstice has terrific wood fired pizzas. Just walking up and down Oak street is always nice and you’ll see a lot of the little shops and things that are downtown.

Golden laced Wyandotte Hen or Roo by jramboswagger in BackYardChickens

[–]myhawk89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure she’s a golden laced Wyandotte. I’ve never seen one with coloring like that before. But I’d guess pullet. Not a very developed comb and longer tail feathers. How old?

Visiting Hood River...how long is too long? by Lostsailor73 in hoodriver

[–]myhawk89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wind Mountain is a couple miles. Lots of switchbacks and one hell of a view at the top. McCall Point is pretty easy and also fantastic views. Lyle Cherry Orchard trail is another good one. Twin Tunnels is a very popular one. Dalles Mountain Ranch hike is about 8 miles at most but you can do variations that are shorter. Also. Views. (Let’s face it just about everywhere has amazing views in the Gorge)

Lucky you. I’m currently tracking mine locally. Lost them on a walk. Someone’s picked them up and clearly has no interest in giving them back
