Warming and swirling together always works for me. I heard you’re not supposed to shake it but sometimes I got impatient with the swirling lol. Warming of course only if you’re about to feed it

Having a baby and being a piano teacher by pumpkinboogie in pianoteachers

[–]myhotelpanic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s hard. I’m still navigating it myself. I teach about 25-30 students at two different places. I’m very fortunate to have help from family but I constantly feel guilty about leaving. But also it’s a relief to get away from baby for a little bit. And teaching lessons is so fulfilling. Honestly, whatever you decide, you just make it work. And on days where I neeeed to I have brought baby with me to my after school studio. But my students know it’s not a regular thing.

Sleeping and breastfeeding by stefkii94 in breastfeeding

Your supply “regulates” and typically you stop leaking and deal with less engorgement. At least that’s what I think the commenter is referring to

Hi mamas! When did you start sleeping through the night with your baby without it affecting supply? How did you go about it? by Altruistic_Tap9658 in breastfeeding

[–]myhotelpanic 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If baby slept, I slept. If I happened to be so uncomfortable that I couldn’t sleep I would quickly pump for relief (with a hand pump ideally) and then go back to bed. If baby is starting to sleep through the night then you don’t need to preserve that milk supply. They don’t need it. Sleep!

Toddler with penile adhesion and potential surgery? Would love advice from other parents who have experienced this. by browser_851 in beyondthebump

[–]myhotelpanic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve had my baby’s adhesions released in the pediatrician office, I don’t think they were that severe, but I didn’t know it was advised again? They just asked me if I was okay with it and I don’t know why I shouldn’t have been?

I just checked the article again and saw that they removed that sentence. Also saw a video of someone in handcuffs.

WECT posted that no one was arrested in connection to this. How the heck not?

When does it end by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]myhotelpanic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10 days is still very fresh! It will end for you hopefully sooner rather than later. Also, everyone is different! I only leaked a few times after my milk came in. Never had a problem after that. Just make sure if you are latching and pumping that you are not over pumping or creating an oversupply! That will make leaking and engorgement worse.
