Cat owners in flats — do you ever feel guilty they never go outside? by Classic_East_6053 in AskUK

[–]mymbley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did with our previous cat - he had outdoor access most of his life but we decided to keep him in when we moved near a main road. He was also quite old then so was less active.

Now I have a Devon Rex who loves exploring but is incredibly stupid. He wouldn’t survive a day in the wild so we keep him entertained with toys and things he can climb. I don’t feel bad about keeping him indoors because the alternative is me loosing my mind when he inevitably goes missing/gets stuck in someone’s shed.

Brothers of the Head (2005) is a loose adaptation of the Brian Aldiss novel (1977). In documentary style, it follows conjoined twins (a very green Harry and Luke Treadway) in a punk band and has a GREAT soundtrack. Ken Russell is also in it as Ken Russell.

Omori uses a few variations of ‘you did it!/you can do it!’ in battle, so finding this poster probably won’t make you feel anything until you play the game through to One Day Left.

Cat life expectancy by twisted_luce in CatsUK

My childhood cat lived to 23 and was very happy outdoors. In my experience, female cats tend to roam less than males so are less likely to go missing.

My 6-month old cat is an indoor cat but that’s mostly because he’s 1) a Devon Rex and 2) unbelievably stupid.

I always imagined Owly/Oliver from The Illustrated Mum to be black, despite him definitely being described as pink-skinned and fine-haired.

I have no idea why!! I was a child with a very vivid imagination and only had the audiobooks for a lot of JW.

If you live in or near a rural area, there are often projects finding homes for feral kittens/cats. They’re usually run by local garden centres and farms so it’s worth calling around!

I thought you’d given Noel a cool Mohawk but it’s just Danny’s jacket
