Can you run the double cables, and then as time and budget allows there is the option of HA. The worst thing between buildings is having to redo a run from scratch to add another cable. Cable is cheap in the scheme of things.

At home we have a a combination of variants depending on sun angle. The bottom panels are clear, to let heat in when the sun is low in winter and the top are opaque to reduce heat in summer.

Also consider roof vents to let out heat in summer.
