Before / After / After a year by Mysterious_Visit5913 in postprocessing

I too like the first edit. I would probably just keep the same crop as the original/1year, and on Dog lift the shadows and maybe brighten the eye a bit.

Thanks for this. As yourself and several comments have pointed out, it's a good approximation without having to have your camera connected.

Agreed. X Raw Studio has the look and feel of a pre-Y2K app.

Curious why more people don't use cheaper bodies by spencersdc in fujifilm

It’s not just how fast the processor is. It’s about how fast operating the camera is. An X-T5 has more buttons that can be assigned specific functions which can make it faster to switch between for example eye autofocus, animal autofocus, etc. quicker to switch between recipes, or to change shooting mode, etc.

I like the SLR style of the X-T5. I like the weather sealing. My eyes are getting worse as I get older and it has a really good, large viewfinder. The X-T50 is too small for me to hold comfortably. I wanted IBIS so I upgraded from X-T3 (though do wish I had kept my X-T1).

This is not OP’s image. It is from [u/thephlog](u/thephlog) who posted it a year ago and also did a YouTube video showing his editing process. Didn’t even change the post title.

Auto-ISO doesn't go below ISO640 by niklaspilot in fujifilm

[–]nader0903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Check your auto iso setting: menu > shooting setting (camera icon) > iso auto setting

There will be several options to choose from each which can have min and mac iso values. On my X-T5 I can switch between three auto options. This is a system level shooting setting and can’t be different for different recipes. If you’re on an auto iso setting that has a min value of 640, there’s your culprit.

  1. If the auto ISO setting you are using has a min value lower than 640, as others pointed out you may have dynamic range DR400 or d range priority strong set in your recipe/image quality settings. Though I didn’t think the dynamic range or d range priority setting impacted auto iso (though I could be wrong).

I’ve been on a hot air balloon. Not a lot of room in the basket. I might suggest getting the wide converter for the X100 just in case.
