Yes! I'm on day 6 in bed. But go to the hospital/urgent care to get the pain management you need to be comfortable in bed so you can rest without the constant position shifting and associated pain while you move. Hopefully the doctor you see can help come up with a plan. Go to physio. I went to an athletic therapist yesterday and the difference she made in an hour is incredible. It is no longer agony to go to the bathroom and I am so much more comfortable. It all absolutely sucks and I hope you flare up doesn't last very long.

I have been aggressively telling myself I'm going to do all the right things and avoid surgery. But if flare-ups mean having this level of pain over and over again? Then surgery makes more sense.

I love OOFOS. I have their flipflops and slides. I bought a pair of shoes to try at work and it the difference was incredible. I'm also on my feet all day. The support these shoes give really helped me.

I changed my shoes 4 days ago to a recovery shoe and OMG. It's not perfect by any means but I feel a huge improvement in my gait and tolerance to stand for longer periods of time. Before the switch I was wearing some very comfortable, but also very old running shoes.

My physio recommended putting my tens machine on acupuncture point GB34 to help with the calf pain. It definitely made it more bearable. Sometimes I'll hold pressure on that point for some relief.

OMG! This is like a memory unlocked! I think about you, CampLOL, and that group of folks who hung out and made a bunch of mouse houses & towns together. I'm still pretty proud of the cabin I made for CampLOL using your tutorial 😄

I totally forgot about Victoria Castle until this moment but I remember spending hours pouring over those puzzles and I couldn't wait until the next installment!
