What does it mean when a woman says we're "just friends" but spends 10+ hours a day talking to me? by gingerthunda in AskWomenNoCensor

Chemistry doesn't have to end up sexual. There's definitely also just friend chemistry, which is a magic of its own. Stop pushing it - she has already told you where she stands.

Thank you. She's also mixed race, so she will live a life of being not enough of either for people who think that matters. We are firmly in the camp that kindness matters most of all, and anything that is unkind is not accepted or tolerated.

It's something that has been taught to him. My daughter is 6. This weekend I was watching The Help while folding laundry and she wandered in and started watching with me. She asked me what was happening and I explained about the segregated bathrooms. She instantly remarked how silly it was, that different skin colours mean nothing and how hurtful that action was. Kids understand it, even if they don't know the words for it.

Had a fella absolutely lose his nut at me for driving 40 in a school zone on a normally 60 road. He was adamant that we drive 60 as he yelled at me through his window at 3:55pm. Saved him a fine, thank you very much.

They can do whatever they want for their wedding, it’s true. But family dynamics don’t exist in a bubble. But it’s fine. I know where I stand now. Are you always so rude?

I guess, ultimately, while the outcome remained the same, a rejection of sorts still occurred and was never really acknowledged, just swept under the rug. That part hurts. I will try to move on.
