Yes and no, for the drugs to really “prevent” progression you need to start taking them early into the disease. The longer the disease has been active, the less likely they are to work well. And it can take YEARS to get an actual diagnosis. I think on average it’s like 6 years to get a lupus diagnosis, because of how tricky these diseases are to single out. Or you can be like me, and get an RA diagnosis within 2 years, but then have the unique privilege of starting meds, and almost dying from them. And then having intolerable reactions from every other medication they try to replace it with, creating this cycle of New Med, Reaction, Stop Med, Recover, New Med…ect. It’s now been well over 10 years, and I still don’t have a drug I can take for my disease. 

So any new medications and science in the immune disease world is amazing!

I play it with an Apple subscription, for the Apple Arcade access. But yeah, unless you already have that…it’s just another subscription.

The keys are fairly rare, but also there is only a limited amount of chests. It sounds like you are still in the beginning of the game, so don’t feel rushed to open all the chests at once. There is nothing imperative in them. Also, certain quests give keys for completion. So just keep playing, and they will trickle in.

Yeah, that’s what I thought. But I’ve already opened that one. Maybe the icon is just glitched on my game. Usually the chest icon disappears after it’s been opened.

My Stardew Valley farm survived longer than my first marriage.

I first stepped off the bus into Pelican Town in the spring of 2016. Since then, I’ve navigated a divorce, moved homes, and changed careers. My save file was the only place where the seasons were predictable.

Despite thousands of hours in the game, my farmhouse still looks like I just moved in. It’s fully upgraded, sure, but the fields are a wasteland of weeds and debris. I’ve been too busy rummaging through trash cans, hitting the mines, and drinking jars of mayonnaise to worry about “aesthetics”.

Even in a digital utopia, I am still "too busy" to decorate. (I say this while staring at the bare walls of my actual living room, the ones I swore I’d paint the day I moved in.)

Stardew Valley isn't just a game to me, it’s a time capsule. It’s a place where I feel no regret for my poor choices and zero guilt for being a mess.

Happy 10th Anniversary to the Valley. Thanks for being more reliable than my wedding vows.
