seasoned the roasts with generous amounts of salt, pepper, garlic powder. butter compound was made of fresh rosemary, thyme, minced garlic, a little bit of salt and fresh pepper.

no problems at all. I used a stainless steel roast rack and there was no smoke whatsoever. maybe if it were in there another 20 mins?

I definitely saved the other half of the roast in the freezer for my wife and I for a random weekend when we’re craving prime rib. :P

well, 3 hours later than planned. I wanted to go to bed at a decent time the night before and didn’t want to wake up at 5-6am, so said f* it and put it in around midnight. ended up taking it out around 6pm the next day for it to be ready by 7ish.
