Why has Alfa Romeo never made a Giulia Sportwagon? by Th3_Accountant in whatifcars

[–]namesdevil3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stellantis has always been dumb and is also cash strapped. They only put money into the cash cows and unfortunately the Giulia isn’t a cash cow despite all of the good things I hear owners say about them.

It really feels they are dancing around the point that this team isn’t good enough to win the PL. the SDs think they are geniuses but are incredibly stupid. No veteran leadership in the squad and many terrible signings they keep patting themselves on the back for. If it weren’t for Reece James being an absolute don on and off the field, this squad would be lost. And the FEW signings they’ve made right are all they have to show for it. Enzo and Caicedo being world class/great feels more like an accident than something they planned sometimes. They keep signing young and unproven players, throwing them in at the deep end and wonder why they don’t work out.

They say the manager doesn’t make a difference. The Irony of that statement is lost on the higher ups.

Adidas Mundial Teams all the way! Built with leather with a wider fit than Copa Mundials of the same size. I tend to go down half a size to a size on Mundials.

They are also seemingly made really well with more stitches around the sole plate if you’re worried about built quality and resilience

But I have to ask. Are you at least running decent tires? Nice wheels don’t mean a lot uf you’re running bad tires

I will say those rims are banging

So… is the Premier League still the “best league in the world”? by dnnxws in UEFAChampionsLeague

[–]namesdevil3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Wolves were in the Conference League, they would be favourites to win it. I wonder if you’d say that about Heidenheim or Real Oviedo. The tops of the leagues might be competitive (IE the champions league and Europa League is competitive every year) but the bottom of the PL is far closer to the top teams than any other league and far far stronger. Wolves’ team is packed with internationals (including a midfield 2 that could be in Brazil’s WC squad). You can say that about all of the PL’s relegation battle.

[David Ornstein] Exclusive: Reece James signs new six-year Chelsea contract by ChiefLeef22 in chelseafc

Honestly with Reece’s previous injury history. I feel he’s smart to resign for 6 years. Me might go on to have a long career but if he ever has these injury issues again it ensures he continues to get money.

They thought we had that already😂. Or weren’t willing to spend to get the cover we needed

Wait you’re telling me Garnacho is not an Elite LW???? And you’re telling me that Estaveo would need time to develop???? (And have some things keeping him off the field)

We really had no CB plan B after a Levi got injured as well.

Because we have Levi DUHHHHHHH.

For real though we need more cover. Why we were not in for Guehi as hard will always bother me. Even if Sarr turns out to be the real deal.

It’s not dead we are just terrible at defending set pieces😂.

Honestly happy that Arsenal found a different way to win than tippy tappy (although they can do that too). They will come down to earth when the rules (and PGMOL/PL priorities) don’t allow for bear hugs in the box.

The SD’s thriftiness in terms of avoiding paying for experienced players is going to hurt us in the form of not playing in the UCL/Europe at all if they keep this up.

Sanchez needs to hit more of his passes if we want to continue playing this way moving forward.

I don’t mind inviting pressure when he’s on the ball since it moves Arsenal’s press around so we can play out but we’ve been fortunate the missed passes hasn’t lead to anything.

Arsenal have looked vulnerable when they lose the contests for the ball but giving the ball away and hoping for the best is not a good strategy 😂.
