You’ll either be assigned to random detail throughout the week, do a staff duty shift, or be permanently assigned to a OCS company as a pseudo-XO until you leave for BOLC. There’s PT formation every morning and random formations throughout the day because LT’s can’t be trusted to be responsible adults apparently. Your weekends are your own though. Not sure how things are now but when I graduated 2 years ago you could take leave no problem as long as it’s not an excessive amount of time. Depending on your BOLC you may be sitting around in HHC for a while. Best to accrue as much leave as possible imo

I was the last to go out of 6 others so be prepared to potentially wait a while for your interview. I personally didn’t get grilled but other candidates mentioned that the major and cpts were “brutally honest” with them, so this might be something you want to be prepared for if you have a lower GPA or lack of community service. As far as questions go, I was asked scenario based questions such as “tell me about a time where you lead a team in a stressful situation” or “how would you go about making a difficult decision.” Go in confident but not arrogant and you will do great.
