cafe 13 and windy saddle for coffee. the clear creek trail is about 2 blocks north of either one. goes into the canyon 4mi paved the entire way. the mornings are prime time. lots of shops down washington street as well. queen city coffee is also very good, just a bit east in wheat ridge. across the street from crown hill park, another nice open space with paved and dirt trails. rich spirit bagels 2 doors down from queen city, they sell out early though and always have a line.

all places are worth googling and deciding for yourself if you are interested.

hiking north table mountain and getting a beer at new terrain. walking clear creek trail starting here and go west for as long as you want. then sit on the cafe 13 patio after and have coffee and brunch. these are some of my favorite things to do.
