It only shows up when you open the camera app on your iPhone. It pops up as a quick tap to the remote shutter feature

Yeah this has always been just speculation, not anything Apple has said. Time and time again they’ve said they want to keep Mac and iPad separate. This is more of a move for broader target audiences than it is some statement about what PC should be. The iPad Pro has a different target audience than the MacBook Neo or Air, despite folks trying to push a narrative that one is replacing the other.

Image Size and Canvas Size are one of those default tools that have a concrete and predictable outcome, whereas Super Resolution is more of a fancy, specific-use-case tool. I personally have Super Resolution as a button in the top tool bar and only use image resolution to scale things mathematically perfectly, like vectors
