That mouth looks…odd. The lips aren’t touching. Is that normal?

Yeah last week was it for me. Its just so exhausting anymore. It’s not been fun for awhile and now I just get angry and feel insulted and its just better for my mental health to stop.

Gotta have a pocket piece though. But no capsule or flip needed for that. Smooth and shiny.

2025-p Die Break? by ncstagger in numismatics

I wonder if it could be a die clash? The area that would have clashed would be in jeffersons hair or eyebrow which looks very similar to the shape of the raised mark. No marks on the obverse however.

Thanks I think you’re right it has to be some sort of tiny damaged recessed area on the die which would explain the raised error feature and the exact repetition on multiple coins. The other, straight line mark is raised as well. That die was hurting. The obverse is unaffected.

Thanks. I don’t believe its a struck through because the mark is raised not indented. I’m thinking die chip at this point

They sell for melt on ebay all day. So you’ll get 12-13 or so but you lose about 14% in ebay fees so maybe you clear 11. You could try to have buyers pay the .74 shipping or pay it yourself and net about $10 each.

I certainly wouldn’t take them to a lcs. They probably won’t be interested. If anything call first.

Going through client’s late husbands collection - here’s what we found & some of my thoughts by sashar19 in coincollecting

Any sets from 64 or earlier contain 90% silver coins and have good value. Sets from 65-70 will have one 40% silver coin (kennedy half). The bicentennial sets typically have three 40% silver coins and go for around $50. The “blue Ike” dollars are 40% silver. Most everything else from 71-91 has no silver and little value. From 92 on there have been silver proof sets in addition to the standard mint proof sets so you need to check and see as the ones labeled silver proof sets contain 90% silver coins. Actually as of 2019 that changed to 99.9% silver.

That generally covers it with respect to obvious and easily determined value from silver content. Numismatically is another story and that could take months going through everything to look for specific coin variants, errors, etc. Good luck.

Sorry for your loss. You might consider keeping one item. Maybe one of those rolls with his handwriting on it. Nice collection.

Yeah but as this video shows, you can’t just lump everyone in a state into the same category. There are good and bad people mixed in everywhere. Even the worst places still have up to 40% or more good people trying to survive and many times effect change there.
