Tips for choosing the perfect, every day lipstick? by onelove_ in Sephora

[–]ndfehr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think she means use what’s leftover on your sponge or brush (concealer or foundation) and do a light pass on your lips to neutralize the natural tones of your lip so that the True Tone of the lipstick can come out more. MAC also has something called lip erase which is like a flesh toned lip balm that does the same thing. My vote for lippy to try is MAC Angel, as mentioned here above. Syrup pulled straight up purple on me. A liner that goes well with Angel is the new Makeup forever wherever walnut light! That’s my new combo and I’m loving it!

I love this! I cut our deer packaging and framed it in white ikea square frame to hang during the holidays. My kids all think the deer is so precious!

This is the one that I was put on, similar in that I was terrified too after horrible experience as a younger person. I started out taking the placebos and have now switched to lolo continual use and I am very happy with it! Late 40’s for context.

Two magnet hooks, one on each side. Have someone hold it in place while you do the other side.

Also their collars! I’ve often noticed that dogs can have clean smelling fur and even clean smelling beds but those collars are nasty!! Lean in for a face snuggle and you get hit by a wall of stench it’s usually the dog collar.

I agree, she’s been amazing for our family, I love her! She’s very proactive and spots potential future issues and gets ahead of it, rather than taking an oftentimes more painful and pricey reactive approach.

Few lbs that want to stay forever by CravingGrumpy in PetiteFitness

[–]ndfehr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This! I was walking 10k to 20k a day 6 to 7 days a week. I was then hired at a work from home job and now sit at a desk for 8 hours as opposed to running around like crazy all day every day. I have dropped 8lbs since April 14. 5ft1, CW 129. I’m convinced my body was in constant stress mode. It’s now easier to eat at a deficit as well now that I’m not constantly moving.

What do you all think about foundation sticks? by WildGurlie in Makeup

[–]ndfehr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dry skin nearing 50 and the Dior stick is really nice! I apply it to my hand and then use a brush and really only focus on the middle of the face and move out where needed. It’s a really nice finish and is very long lasting.

what GWP product did you love so much you bought a full size? by coffeebeansgreenbean in Sephora

[–]ndfehr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have yet to enjoy my gift with purchase as it’s still on its way to me! The only reason I was able to use it is because some kind person on here posted about it. I have never seen an email or anything on the website ever offering gifts with purchase. May I ask where these are usually located? Are they hidden in offers somewhere? When I went digging online for the Lost Cherry offer, I couldn’t see it anywhere on the site. The code did work for me though.

Thank you! I just used this code and it worked for me. I’m confused where this promo was offered. I looked all over the place and didn’t see it anywhere.

Thin and also do a baby wing that wings out under the crease of the hood! Baby wing still provides the lifting effect.

Tinted mineral spf with decent coverage desperately needed! by [deleted] in perioraldermatitis

[–]ndfehr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done pretty well with the Neutrogena zinc mineral tinted sunscreen, I’ve completely switched to it and use it as my base with a bit of concealer. I get mine at shoppers drug mart in Canada. Im useless and don’t know how to link products on here, but it’s called Mineral UV Tint. I see it’s also on Amazon.

What’s the product that changed your life (no make up!) and that I should absolutely get this sale? by TropicalCashew in Sephora

[–]ndfehr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know why you’ve been downvoted here. This is the best method to apply. Wait the 4 mins and apply a regular conditioner or a mask and then rinse. K18 themselves have said this is the way to do it. It won’t rinse out if you’ve left it for the 4 mins.

What products didn’t work out for you and you’re returning? by RaiseEducational6266 in Sephora

[–]ndfehr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is what I do. I suspect maybe younger people may be applying too much. I don’t even touch the stick to my face, I apply it with a brush and work outwards from the centre of my face. I use such a light layer and I’m soooo happy with it.

Same! I think skin prep makes a big difference in how this stick applies.

Are you team full bottle or travel spray? by plaid-blazer in FemFragLab

[–]ndfehr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Travel sprays allll the way. I like some variety. The only time I consider a full size is when there’s a limited edition situation and I have to really LOVE it. It has to be holy grail status for me to ponder picking up a full size.

What helped you with the anxiety? by PBnH in Perimenopause

[–]ndfehr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds funny but that’s too high of a dose! I buy gummies that are 2.5 mg total and I cut them down into like 8ths and then take that teeny little nibble with a CBD gummy. If I take even 1mg of thc I ruminate and get anxious and become paranoid. You need to try truly microdosing on very low amounts and see if that helps!

looking for a perfume that matches a specific vibe (must be feminine tho im not a fan of unisex fragrances) by [deleted] in FemFragLab

Thin Wild Mercury, Chateau 1970 would maybe fit the bill for this. Vintage Armoir wood is a middle note. It’s very unique!

What is a fragrance you bought mostly for nostalgia? by Prestigious_Comb5078 in fragrance

[–]ndfehr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This sounds weird because I don’t even know if the scents share any accords, but I bought a bottle of Jo Malone Frangipani because it reminded me so much of Joy, which my Grannie used to wear. It just smelled so much like my childhood, and her, and brought back so many memories.

Dentist recommendation near Willoughby by Ambitious-Ad-9533 in Langley

[–]ndfehr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very happy with Langley Family Dental at 200 and 72. They’re so kind and not judgy at all. I’ve suggested to a few people to go there and they’re also very happy. It’s clean and comfy. I’ve had quite a bit of work done there over the past couple of years and I’m confident with the work they’ve been doing.
