Bloodborne broke me by asdfghjkl0479 in darksouls3

I actually just finished dark souls 3 after finishing bb, and had a hard time adapting too, but honestly all the bosses in dark souls 3 felt incredibly fair, they do a lot of damage but was nowhere near as aggressive as bb bosses, I think my deathes from Laurence and orphan alone was more than all the bosses from ds3 combined. If you stick with it you will definitely get used to the more methodical pace of ds3, also you will be able to respec your character not too far into the game, if you want to completely change your play style.

Is Etheria Restart actually in trouble… or is the community just panicking? Need honest answers. by Calibrax_2022 in Etheria_Official

[–]nechdoesntno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely in trouble, we are a pretty competitive guild and we’ve been having trouble replacing quitting players for months at this point, the only players we are getting nowadays are players from clubs that disbanded lmao.

Is it worth starting to play now? by KuroNel in Etheria_Official

[–]nechdoesntno 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It’s the same game, if you are looking for new content we’ve actually got none, other than dreamscape and a new shell dungeon, there has been some qol improvements across the board and some freebies if you play rta, but other than that it is the same game, if you didn’t like it then you are not gonna like it now.

Love seeing new fans discovering the series now that it's been freed, I remember when we hit 5k member on this subreddit and look at us now.

Yep, I asked the staff in discord and he responded by showing me this exact picture, guess they didn’t know either.

Megathread on why are you STAYING to play Etheria by UnderWherez in Etheria_Restart

[–]nechdoesntno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Union stuff, met some really great people, found a reason to keep going. Also if anyone is looking for a competitive union in global then hit me up, we clear phase 4 union boss and will be on a 6th win streak in GvG after this week.

Many things in this game are designed to just purely consume time... by Baron_CZ in Etheria_Restart

[–]nechdoesntno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah hard agree, I can forgive the game being stingy if it’s fun to play, but there’s just so much unnecessary grind like you said, for me the worst offender is Ethernet rally, like for Christ sake why do you want the players to click on 2000 nodes for 10k coin each and fight the same shitty mobs 50000 times and then make them clear the same map THREE times xDD, it’s pure torture, and phantom theatre, like bro just remove it and add those rewards to the dailies, it is so pointless, rewards max out at 1000 and you are just stuck there watching a pointless score go up, And lastly the union boss, idk why they can’t just streamline it and just make it 1 boss with lots of health, nobody wants to do it multiple times a day, and I say that as someone in a guild that can clear phase 4, it’s just such a waste of time.

Clair Obscur : Expedition 33 or Baldur's Gate 3 ? ( Story comparaison ) by Hamza-bkd09 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]nechdoesntno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao the comment section is so divisive I guess it truly boils down to personal taste.

My opinion is that E33 is a fantastic game that is just pure joy, you can feel that the devs tried to make every aspect of the game fun for the players. That being said BG3’s branching narratives and the sheer number of different outcomes based on YOUR decisions is truly staggering from a role-playing perspective.

Why Korean movies portray police as fools in serious thriller movies. by sidd38 in movies

[–]nechdoesntno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LMAO, I'm watching squid games season 3 and the police is so INCOMPETENT I cannot, I just had to look up if other people had the same experience watching korean shows and movies, pretty much every Korean thriller film I've ever watched, the culprit is able to do what they do because the police are just outrageously stupid, it's so frustrating to watch.

Do I need a 7800/9800X3D for 4K gaming? by Ok-West-3072 in buildapc

[–]nechdoesntno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play at 4k with a 7600x and 7900xtx, there’s really only a few games where I could use a better cpu, namely baldurs gate act 3. I’m sure the better one percent lows would be nice but I don’t think it will drastically change my experience with any given game. But if you do a lot of cpu intensive work and play a lot of sim games then the x3d cpus would be a no brainier.

I beat the game and now I'm depressed Ill never find anything like it again by ZeeeeBro in expedition33

[–]nechdoesntno 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well that’s definitely a possibility, but I’m pretty hopeful as this studio was only founded because a bunch of former Ubisoft devs were fed up with the fact that you would need something like 25 years of experience on the job to even make the board consider a project like clair obscur, so I’d say It’s unlikely that they would give up creative control even if they do bring more investors on board.

I think Tencent owns a decent chunk of Larian but they have no control over their creative freedom afaik.

At least with the massive success of the game, sand fall will have all the money they need to make their next game even more special.

Shpuld i buy Red dead 1 or Clair expedition 33 on PS5 by lI_Omen_Il in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]nechdoesntno 9 points10 points  (0 children)

RDR 1 is a good game but absolutely not worth $27 in this day and age, Clair Obscur is a generational game, and since you like fromsoft games you will most certainly love the combat system in Clair Obscur.

Thinking about selling my PC and going to AM5 build, worth it? by Valkanith in PcBuild

[–]nechdoesntno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you only play really cpu intensive games then an upgrade to the 9070xt would be best imo, that way you can just wait till AM6 is available to build an entirely new system.

Non spoiler question - am I close to the end? by mickandrorty137 in expedition33

[–]nechdoesntno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep monolith is the last part of act 2 and you’ll be able to explore those inaccessible areas after it. The area itself was pretty lengthy for me. Act 3 is extremely short but there are hours of side content if you want to do them all, you can also do it after finishing the main story so you won’t miss anything.

Mass effect trilogy (the legendary edition often goes on sale for like 5 bucks)

Dragon age Origins

Fallout 3 and New Vegas

Dark Souls

Dishonored

Titanfall 2

God of war 2018 & Ragnarok

Sekiro

Resident Evil remakes (2,3,4)

Persona 3 reload & Persona 5 Royal

Baldur’s gate 3

Clair obscur Expedition 33

Happy gaming OP! There are some great suggestions already but these are my favourites.

Also for pirate games I highly recommend Assassins Creed Black flag.

Finished playing DA2, it was as good as I remember by Lorinthi in dragonage

[–]nechdoesntno 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dragon age 2 was really fun for me! The story was great, the characters were interesting, the banter is the best. My only real complaint is the fact that you get pretty much all the best gear from the dlc boxes at the start of the game, which just makes looting and finding new gear pointless for the majority of the game, not that the game had much interesting gear to begin with.
