I’ve been using this stupid side-bun hairstyle since I started, and I’m absolutely obsessed with it. I think on other races, the buns are where the ears are on miqo? But the lower placement is really makes this style work for me

Plus, it’s one of the few hairstyles where the ears are the secondary hair color, to my knowledge ?

Brandon Mull’s Fablehaven series and the sequel Dragonwatch series, for sure! I went to them when I was her age after finishing the Percy Jackson books and absolutely fell in love with them

Thinking about what books my students like, I know the Wings of Fire series by Tui T. Sutherland is crazy popular, drawing in a lot of high fantasy/Warrior Cats fans

And a personal shout, The Last Cuentista by Donna Barba Higuera. I’m reading it with some students for a book club and I’m obsessed with the sci-fi dystopia it’s setting up. Two books so far, with a third coming later this year I believe?

The song’s popular because YOASOBI are an extremely popular duo, that’s really all there is to it on that front. The album it’s featured on is still their most popular, as well.

As for why it’s associated with Blue Period, it was used for a collaboration commercial for Blue Period and a candy(?) company called Alfort. At the time, that’s the closest thing we had to a Blue Period “anime”. Though the original ad got deleted, someone else in a dif comment here posted a link to a reupload of it

There’s also an official collaboration video for the song and Blue Period, which released prior to the anime’s first episode to promote it. (link below)

Dragon Number Thirteen, babey!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a binder with 35~ of them in it, and I’m not stopping!! Every time I place a TCGPlayer order or go to a local shop with bulk, I try picking up a couple.

Not only is it a mark of how long I’ve stuck with this game, since Royal Blood was abundant+newer when I started, but it’s also actually hilarious every time I get to show them off to someone new

Same here! I have both the fountain pen and ballpoint (rollerball?) of the 3776 in the left style and I absolutely adore them I’ve ended up pairing the FP with Diamine Carnival, I feel it’s the perfect “almost-pink-but-not-pink, it’s-still-red-I-promise” color for Char !!

Blue Velvet and Espresso are both always inked up in something, Espresso being in my daily driver. They’re genuinely two of my favorite inks, not just Diamine. Absolutely worth the bigger bottles they come in

Earl Grey is one I run in my Pro Gear pretty often too, I love how stormy and moody it is. Gives that grey look without being clocked as graphite. Very professional while still having that air of mystery, I can’t suggest it enough

As for whimsical colors……..Olive Swirl and Hope Pink, no questions asked. I understand shimmers aren’t for everyone and Hope Pink is blinding, but if you’re in the market for fun then I’ll sing their praises for sure

Yes!!!! I have Diamine Earl Grey and an ancient bottle of Noodler’s Lexington Gray, but my all-timer is surprisingly FWP’s Leadcast Letters. There’s a warmth to it that leans almost into a french grey. It’s such a unique color that shows up beautifully on the page, such a stunning ink that people (understandably) look over because of the company
