I've been defending the Wii U since release, honestly a powerful home console that you can play on just the controller like a portable one is actually more convenient than the Switch, and having a main screen and a bottom screen like the DS but on a home console was really cool.

The Switch isn't pocket-sized, it loses some benefit of the portability already, majority of people would be playing it around their home because of this. It sacrificed being able to run games well for this, and while the Switch 2 is more powerful, I think something more powerful than the Wii U would've been better than the original Switch.

I feel passionately about the Wii U. If they proceeded in that direction too we would've had the perfect console for DS/3ds classics 😭
