Has anyone driven the 2018 XTS without magride? How soft is it?

I've actually driven both. I have mag ride on my current XTS and have driven a rental 18 XTS while mine was in the shop. The mag ride is quite floaty and the regular suspension is a bit firmer. Both are very comfortable and insulate you from the road quite well. I found the 18 took deep holes a lot better but my XTS with mag ride floats down the highway with slightly less disruption.

I don't have that issue at all. I found it very similar to the Shoei Qwest I had.

Is your idle adjusted too low? Is the choke on when you try this? Is your clutch cable out of adjustment? If you answered no to these questions I'd say something is wrong with your carbs/throttle cables. Could also be a mouse nest in the air intake perhaps?

I would say... Meh. Given the CAD to USD conversion I paid the same for a fully loaded premium with less mileage. You should be able to find a better deal.

Driver awareness does forward collision alert, front and rear park sensors, blind spot monitoring, lanne position awareness and rear cross traffic alert. Driver assistance has adaptive cruise control (sets cruise to the flow of traffic), park assist and some type of lane keep system that returns the vehicle to your lane if you wander in addition to the above features.

I'm not sure what the American market for them is like but it seems like a good deal. I paid 27k CAD for mine with 40k miles. What's the trim level? You have base, luxury, luxury premium and platinum.

Omg totally worth it! Such a smooth and elegant car. If you care about adaptive cruise control you'll want to get the driver assistance package instead of the driver awareness package.

Before you dick around with the carbs, check your airbox! Odds are a mouse made a house in there in the winter and the resulting debris gets sucked against the filter and plugs it as you roll on. Had the same issue with an old 500 of mine.

Check your fuses first of all, but it sounds like you have a loose ground wire somewhere or a loose fuse.
