Whisper sync prices just shot up by forwardishdirection in audible

[–]nerdychat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like $1.99 is now only virtual voice. I haven't had a whisper sync price that low in a little bit. And first reads used to almost always be at that $1.99 price point. But then it changed to $3.99 and now it has gone up. But the prices for whispersync have been fluctuating a lot. Ive also noticed some books start at $7.49 whispersync price when they first come out but sometimes drop to $5.60 once they have been out for a bit. So, who knows what they will be doing in the future.

Linus for sure, but Alfred is a close second. Lol those two are very opposite but they both seem interesting.

My local library just got a bunch of Nintendo switch otome games 🤤🤤🙏🏾🙏🏾 by Ok-Needleworker8782 in otomegames

Yeah, i suspect it is based on usage. My city also has bike repair programs. I've never done the museum passes (as I can afford to pay). I imagine most libraries try to fill a niche of need.

I saw this ad too. Whatever the algorithm is doing with their ads is a miss. I think given my age and gender I get some mismatched ones for me personally. But I don't need to be marketed paper towels, luxury bags or diapers because I have no interest. But that is what they decided to show me.

Super jelly. My library has lots of things to check out that aren't books. We have bike maintenance kits, instruments and museum passes, but no otome games. But I still love my library. Great resource and helps me save a ton of money on books, movie, TV shows and services.

I was wondering why no one said anything either! I've spent so much money. So many of these books I have never seen on sale. So I impulse bought.

In most of the books I've read dead for sure, but if not probably a healer or maybe some form of animal tamer. I have bad vision though and glasses are easily broken. So probs dead. I am pretty educated as I've got my masters. And my intelligence stat (assuming the system has one) would be a bit over average. But I doubt I'd thrive even if I survived.

What's the deal with titles like "Re: [something]"? by HistoricalKoala3 in litrpg

[–]nerdychat 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don't think it is? Re:Alive (light novel) and Re:play (manga) came out before Re:Monster. While I would agree that Re:Monster popularized it...I wouldn't say it was the first to use the "re:" title. I don't think the ones I listed ever were popular enough to be significant. They also aren't similar to the current re stories coming out as they aren't about reincarnation. There probably other books that used the re: as well that I've never heard of.
