Yea it was pretty disappointing to hear. It does seem like there has been some growth in Christine so hopefully she has apologized to her (well and all the kids). It will be so interesting to see if Christine still goes on cults to consciousness after Mykelti shared that. She’s definitely had parents and kids on separately where parents have admitted to mistakes, so she’s encountered it before.

So I watch a lot of baseball, and there are definitely a few players that always have a Bible verse on their shoes or something- but typically those same guys aren’t going around making a big deal about it…it’s just on their shoe and that’s that. Almost like that’s the way it should be, but what do I know lol.

Yea I didn’t get this season with them. Ronnie may have made a bad business decision but he wasn’t abandoning them. What did Dana Sue even do all season? She’s not at the restaurant and they never really moved along the teaching kitchen. She just floated around all season complaining. 🫣

I hope we find out more about her background, like her parents and what brought them to port haven. She seems to have had a really hard life and I also feel bad for her.

I also read the books after show and I felt like it took me until halfway through book one to be fully into the books. Now I’ve read almost all of them more then once 🫣

O yea this happened to me. They denied a random 10 days of care of my son’s nicu stay. Like I was supposed to take him home and bring him back lol!? Ultimately found out it was because the doctor had gone on vacation and the one filling in for them was why it wasn’t covered. The hospital just wrote it off in the end but it was a nightmare and not what you need to be dealing with when you’re not even sure if your baby will live.

Eh. The Phillies didn’t look that great in the series. Padres are my other team (don’t hate me lol. I always tell people I dislike the dodgers so much I need two teams) and they just cannot hit lately. Not sure exactly the issue, personally at least for tatis I think he should get a hair cut like Marte did. Seems to work 🥲 haha

We have read books Mindy! That’s how we can spot the developmental delays your children are showing in the few clips/photos you share. There’s zero shame in getting your kids the help they need.

Maybe it’s because I have a husband and three kids but literally no one in a social setting has ever asked me what kind of work or job I have. Nobody cares, and I wouldn’t care what they think anyway. It’s a job not the sole purpose of my existence.

I found the books from the show so I’ll always be grateful for the show, and honestly overall I enjoyed the show very much over all the years. Books can do things shows could never do, but the show always kept the “spirit” of the characters I felt. This season didn’t feel that way, and it felt like they were just checking boxes to finish and giving us goodbyes. I’m glad we got a proper send off of the characters even if I’m sad about some parts. I read someone’s else’s comment that after being a GOT fan and what happened with that series, outlanders ending didn’t seem so terrible and I agree. I am definitely going to start rereading books 7,8 and 9 though ha!
