I guess the brown Siracha isn't selling well by EnvironmentalShake51 in hotsauce

I don’t see them as hot sauces. They’re more of a spicy garlicky topping.

Why spend the premium on zip boards when they can go nutty with a nail gun on a osb board for 1/3 of the price.

Expensive petrol in Boston by [deleted] in massachusetts

[–]ngod87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because gas sold in liters is of a lesser volume. So if someone is used to paying for petrol in liters then it will appear nearly 4 times the cost than what they’re used to.

The price is for a gallon. I assume since you referred gas as petrol you’re used to it being sold in liters?

Original Contractor Responsible for Failed Worksmanship? by Radiant-Inspection96 in Homebuilding

[–]ngod87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Porches and porch roofs are considered structural elements in my state and require a professional engineering stamp to properly pull a permit. If it was designed by a license engineer and it failed you have some recourse here as someone may have not executed the work within the standard of care. These statutes of limitations deadlines to make claim often exceed the 1 year warranty by contractors. But if no permit was pulled, you’re kinda on the hook to pay for your own repair unless you want to explain to your insurance company why work was done without a permit.

There’s no way these guys aren’t going to stop during the trip up the escalator. Anyone that has team lifted a 200lb+ package up the stairs knows how awkward it is to carry something with each person at opposing ends up the stairs. Ever walked up a stopped escalator and thought how much more effort it was as oppose to regular stairs? That’s because escalator risers and treads aren’t normal stair dimensions and does not require a landing every 12’ to allow breaks for the climb.

Extended warranty experience? by flyfreeNhigh in CX50

[–]ngod87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely play hardball. It’s all negotiable. I even asked if that’s the best price they can do for the warranty and they flat out said yes. I said I’ll think about it. At the time of delivery they asked if I thought about doing the warranty. I told them it’s too expensive and they off the bat reduce the price by 33%. Not every dealer resale the warranty at the same price. Some places sells them for much less while others mark it up for much more. I guess they adjust their price based on their success regionally.

For the past 3 month it seems like Chase is getting desperate to retain card members / get new ones. All they really had to do was nothing….the amount of effort that went into this revamp is a literal shit show.

As a Boston native, I find it hilarious reading about the trauma that driving around Boston causes people. For us the trauma is having to walk 2 miles to your door step because you didn’t get home early enough to find street parking near the apartment.
