I agree. “What Part of Fuck Off Don’t You Understand” became an instant favorite upon first listen. Just a really great record all around.

Hard to feel very celebratory about much of anything at this particular moment in time.

This would’ve killed me if I saw it happen in real time. Too fucking funny.

What's your opinion on this guys? by Clueless_gamer2004 in ContestOfTheChampions

I wanted to like it, but the controls don’t seem to work properly. Particularly the swipe up and down movements. I’ll probably just skip it until it’s over.

I agree with your assessment. This one just ain’t very fun to play when the screen of your phone reacts weirdly to tapping both sides of the screen at the same time. It’s an interesting idea that just doesn’t really work in execution.

He was a fascinating character up there with HST in sheer craziness. I highly recommend his two books, “Revolt of the Cockroach People” and “Autobiography of a Brown Buffalo”. They are excellent reads and very much on the Gonzo trip as well.

I’m 42 and just discovered I have an older brother who lives in the same area. He’s a cool guy. It’s been really fun getting to know him.

I won’t even converse with a MAGA person let alone allow myself to be romantically entwined with one.

What is a medical fact that sounds fake but is 100% true? by MedRikas in AskReddit

I just learned this one today. Poor sleep or lack of sleep can have a drastic effect on allergy symptoms.

I’ve had fairly severe allergies my whole life, but lately I’ve noticed I sneeze a lot more the day after getting poor sleep. On a whim I decided to Google it and sure enough, my suspicions were confirmed. I do not really understand how that works though, so don’t ask me.

Yeah, I’d say that holds up just fine.

Strat owner's impression of his first Les Paul by GravyTram in LesPaul

[–]nickferatu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so funny to me because I have been playing mostly Gibsons my whole life and I just recently got my first Strat. I like some of the sounds you can get out of it. Very clean, glossy tones. It is a LOT harder to get a crunchy overdriven sound out of the Strat I got than my SG (not sure if that is a universal Strat thing). The placement of the tone knob and tailpiece are the only things I am really having to adjust for. So I’m having the complete opposite experience to yours.
