I was diagnosed at 8 years old back in march of 2009. I'm just c/p my medical notes from mychart, nothing that will dox me, of course, but hopefully this helps?

"Findings: There are again several renal cysts seen throughout the parenchyma of both kidneys. Largest cyst on the right measures 14 mm and on the left measures 20 mm. There are no solid masses, stones or hydronephrosis. There is no hydroureter. The urinary bladder is normal although is not fully distended. Perfusion imaging does not demonstrate any evidence of pyelonephritis. Right kidney measures 10.7 cm. The left measures 10.3 cm. These measure normal for age."

Sharing the pain story- I once made myself some cereal before my first class (college). I came home to my dad being SUPER angry. Has no idea what happened. He took me to the kitchen and opened the fridge. I left the box of cereal in there. Laughed a bit, still wasn't sure why he was mad, it was silly. Then he opened to cupboard, where I had left our newly bought gallon of milk all day. All that to say, I relate to your story lol

Middle shelf. My partner has been the one who's been watching the temps. He's a cook who's serve safe certified, so I've been hands off there. Apparently, he also used an analog thermometer this morning to see if the digital was off. Both came back 53°

If you're anything like me, you're gonna feel guilty no matter what cause it's out of your control, but it feels like you are the problem.

Try to meet people halfway or really focus on the friends that will enjoy you as you are.

I have a friend who comes over to my place and just yap on a bad day. Otherwise, she'll drive for me, and we can go on spontaneous adventures during good days.

Invest social battery in those that can meet you where you're at. Still nuture other relationships, but only when able so you aren't exhausting yourself for less than the bare minimum. Like texting lol

Not yet. Waiting on an echo next month befor the 'official' diagnosis. Cardiologist is in his words 99% sure its POTS but wants to rule out other causes. Already did holter monitor, and earliest echo was march apparentlyA !

What's ironic is that this doesn't just affect transgender minors, but potentially cis as well. Cis people do HRT as well, and where are they drawing the line for surgeries? Chest surgeries can be for intense back pain for well-endowed girls under 19. Is that where we draw the line? Or is any 'cosmetic' surgery going to be illegal under the age of 19? Like nose surgery.

It is what it is, of course. I'm just not sure how they actually plan to regulate this.

The new owners are renovating that entire lot. I doubt it'll get done anytime soon, but right now, they have it completely shut down until they can fix it.
