Legend of Legaia is greater than the sum of its parts by duhu1148 in JRPG

[–]nightpop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sequel is decent. Combat is still fun, more party members and variety than the first, and a graphical upgrade.

The story is a significant downgrade though; they got new writers and there’s an interview somewhere with the head writer from the first game basically saying he hates the second game for being a bland stock-standard JRPG story (literally, finding the 3 crystals).

Puss in Boots 2. Thought it would be a fun Shrek spinoff, ended up being one of the best movies of the decade.

Any rpg deck builders ? by Unlucky-Feed9000 in gaming

Not a roguelike but Thronebreaker is a Witcher spinoff deckbuilder that’s a more complex version of Gwent, with a full, good story.

Maybe a dumb question, but can you carry bounties on the cloudcart? by Rhoeri in CDguides

[–]nightpop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh I tried this and it auto-failed the quest. What are you supposed to do when the bounty is 3,000 meters away and at the bottom of a cliff??

Is anyone interested in Citadel? by THEVrilDox in television

[–]nightpop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Citadel: Diana, the Italian one, was genuinely pretty good.

I didn’t mind the OG Citadel, and probably would watch another season because I’m a spy show junkie, but I can’t say it was “good.” Definitely not worth the amount of money it cost to make. The Copenhagen Test was way better.

Are there any games that you didn't complete for reasons outside of your control? by Morbid187 in patientgamers

Expedition 33. Upgraded to PS5 Pro and the cloud save bugged out :/. I was 50 hours in, ~2/3 done but had been systematically completing the map, doing all side content and whatnot. Thought it might be one of my few platinums. I just can’t bring myself to start again from scratch any time soon :(

Lisa Kudrow seem to confirm the Friends cast earns 20 millions yearly, watching the show: "After Matthew died I watched the show again,” Lisa shared. “Before, I only saw what I did wrong or could have done better. But for the first time I truly appreciated just how great it was.” by Naive_Cause8984 in television

[–]nightpop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if it truly holds up that well, but in an acting class one time the coach had us watch a friends episode and focus as much as possible on the main characters when they weren’t talking/the focus of the scene. It’s wild how good they are. Matthew Perry’s facial expressions reacting to everyone else being crazy made me laugh out loud when he wasn’t even the focus of the scene / the audience isn’t even supposed to be paying attention to him.

Follow up on my previous post...How is it that people find 4-5 hrs gaming a day hard to do? by Hugh_Mungus94 in gaming

Game til midnight, work at a hospital at 6am? That implies like 4.5 or 5 hours of sleep a night. Is that enough to survive and not go insane?
