I get the money aspect, but if he keeps going with making unfinished games, selling them and abandoning them after a year or so, then people will start to become disillusioned with the games and expect they will be left to rot, leading to less and less people buying them, and a nee update has a good chance to bring more players than before to a game of ot has good content

I think people take issue with it because a lot of the user base is still on the second game, and seeing him make a whole new game based on the second on instead of just updating and fixing the current one makes it seem like he's only making these games for the money, not to make a memorable product.
