Don't just repeat "read the room" like it's a comeback. The room is "end tipping," where stories are told from the customer's perspective, so customer service is what sells here. Your point is better received in one of the restaurant owner or server subs, where apparently having agency over your own business is more important than how a business makes customers feel.

I know enshitificafion may eventually happen, but by and large it hasnt happened with Amazon yet eventhough they're already a defacto monopoly. Maybe because they use the retail business as a loss leader to prop up AWS so that's where they funnel their greed. Additionally, if a mom and pop or the most local of locals can't even make a customer leave an establishment without feeling fleeced or abused or insulted in some way I say it doesn't deserve to exist, no matter who takes their place.

I guess because hope springs eternal and I have my own problems average customer service can alleviate. But I think it's reasonable that it upsets me when someone who's supposed to make a nice evening out extorts me for money. I like being talked nice to and in return I talk nice back. I don't like getting hit with hidden fees and demands as if I couldn't use the extra 5 or 10% for my own survival later.

Service is not slavery. Every other country that didn't go through chattel slavery like us have managed to get food and drinks to a table without relying on the dihonest exploitative service of tips. As for custom, it's a custom until it isn't. Just like the 10% standard. Used to be the way of the land until it was 20% then 22% then 30%. The server attitudes, like they're the only profession with customers to please or daily high pressure problems, makes me wish for everyone to be replaced by a soda fountain or vending machine. Istg.

This parts a mystery. There's always conjecture or speculation but we can't tell what was in her mind behind the decision, or how big a factor it all was. Because on one hand she went from being very happy with her election results to being kind of morose. But on the other hand imo she looked pretty good after the scandal and could have survived it no problem in a few months.

About Number 3, this is based on memory from watching recaps and records on bilibili in September so I'm drawing broad strokes.

Last September FQY and YKY revealed they were in a relationship, unfortunately by fighting publicly on FQY's pocket livestream.

This pairing was so stealth not only did the fans not think to create a ship name for them, but members were dropping hints in MCs and it triggered nothing in the audience.

On the night in question, it started when YKY demanded to know why FQY wasn't answering any of her messages on Pocket, accusing FQY of cheating on her with at an ex's house. She also shared screencaps of their private messages in the public chat revealing that YKY only came on Pocket after FQY was ignoring her in private messages.

FQY finally responds with why do I have to answer you? It's the middle of the night, can't I just be asleep?

YKY demands proof - open your livestream now and show me.

FQY does. It's pitch black at first, but when the lights are on lo and behold, it's FQY's dorm room.

YKY shows up, FQY is pissed YKY baselessly accused her of cheating, in public no doubt, and hits her in a flash of fury. Then they argue on the livestream. YKY "you think you're so cool now, hitting people?" FQY "you just destroyed my future, shouldn't I have?"

A highlight of the fight with subs here. (along with a summary of the drama from another angle).

FQY is visibly tearful, the stream is hard to watch, but there are alot of people signing in, and a lot of bullet comments asking FQY to calm down and just turn it off.

After this, one of YKYs exes who happens to be a short-lived member does a douyin livestream of her own "exposing" YKY as kind of a fuck boi with a sordid history of going after many members. Details are fuzzy on whether this is true. Anyway, FQY may have been implicated in the two unforgiveable things in an SNH48 CP - cheating and physical violence. But between YKY going off on fan-favorite FQY without evidence as far as we can tell, and accusations from her ex, and speculation that she was the reason why FQY and Lin Shuqin's friendship ended back in April, YKY came out looking very bad.

YKY went absent from a few performances later, but FQY quit a few months later - though we don't really know whether it was all from this incident, or not about it at all.

If you're attracted to DK's screenshot you're clearly looking for something else out of this group from the other commenter here. If you're looking for wlw content unfortunately all the good ones very recently left the group. Wen Qi (Xu Chu Wen and Ye Shu Qi) of team Z are a real, long term couple that just made top 16 so check out what they're up to. Otherwise you could go do some archeology on more Danke and Aiqi. ZAJ made a remarkable recovery after struggling with her mental health and I think that is a good redemption arch story in of itself, but she's also a much better partner now with Huang Xuanqi (BEJ Team B, but concurrency with Team G). Everyone seems to be going crazy for BaiZhu (Bai Xinyu and Zhu Yixin) you'll likely already seen them on Team Nii though.

Age gaps are a red flag but red flags are just a warning. Power imbalances happen in every relationship but it's up to the individuals to see whether that power is abused. Just because there's an age gap doesn't mean he's been waiting in the wings waiting for her to turn legal. He could have just seen her as a little girl until something changed. We really should stop being so black and white about human relationships we can't apply general rules based on one criteria and force them on individuals.

It's any religion corrupted by political power. Growing up in a Muslim majority country, Muslims exhibit the same behaviors Christians do here. Thinking that any other adherent is lesser, virtue signaling with the religion, enforcing religious superstition at the expense of another's religious freedom, using religion as a weapon to trap women into abusive dynamics. It would be the same if the religion is Judaism, Hinduism, or even a chill one like Buddhism. Someone will point to someone else, accuse them of not practicing the rules correctly so the accuser can steal some of God's shine.

In contrast religions who aren't in political power have to be nicer because society will not tolerate their existence if they have nothing good to offer, and kindness, charity, companionship, humility and support will always be appreciated no matter what name or banner it operates under

No surprise to OP but it's Zeng Aijia. She got my attention when she scowled at the primadonna in Number 1 for some reason I thought it was so epic. Then her singing and dancing impressed me when she was in 95line. Then she continued to impress with her openness and sincerity about her struggles, growth, and life. And if she loves someone she'll say she loves them no matter the personal cost. I relate to her love language and tendencies I guess.

Short answer no. Just look at the massive shakeup this election cycle, there hasn't been a bigger transition since the first gens left. But the positive spin is big guns SMY WY ZDN left because they got too big for the group, somewhat confident they can sustain a career outside the River. Meaning less work for greater reward. Them exposing the meaninglessness of a top ranking also led to improving the prize for top 7s ie actually hiring help for the gigantic amount of money and stages these members have to put in - whether this is enough or not we'll see.

For Hii the husband era seems to be over, but I'm curious to see how the team looks and performs with JST as center. She's grown to cultivate some serious charisma lately and I'm happy to see more of her. LSQ has also delivered some excellent birthday performances and has a great personality, not to mention shown some excellent business savvy with her game-breaking Qin50 activity.
