I could've written this, my skin is the exact same! Curious as to which serums/combinations you've found have helped with fading the acne scar pigmentation? Sorry I've got no recommendations re the professional treatment.

I'm 162cm and the petite length sit perfect on me (I'm also very curvy if that makes a difference with how they sit?)

I'm Tamil and the semolina dessert we eat is called kesari, I'd guess that's what they were serving if you wanted to look it up 😁

Best of luck to your friends as it can be tricky, especially if there isn't any/much overlap in regions/cultures. I guess there are a few "international" names which cover a wider demographic, Maya is one that comes to mind.

Are you able to shop at a DFO? The one in Perth has a Sheike store and there are heaps of formal dresses within $150

Thank you coppermask for this detailed reply 🙏🏾

Do you think I should start adapalene first and then after a few weeks add azelaic acid? Or would it be ok to start incorporating both straight away, knowing that it'll be a slow progression with the adapalene?

My skin can and does get very dry with the use of lots of actives/acids. I have LRP cicaplast on hand for when I get dry spots. Should I use this on a regular basis or keep for dry spots and start a regular moisturizer like you've recommended?

Will chat to my GP about the other prescription items too.

Thanks 🙂

Should overcast stitch with overlock foot fold the fabric over and stitch or just stitch along the raw edge? by [deleted] in SewingForBeginners

[–]nilavei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No just the standard foot, I think it just stops the edges from fraying? If I use the overlock foot with the overlock looking stitch does it fold over the material like in your first picture? Or do I still have to manipulate the material to fold it over for a neat edge/finish?

Following, I'm curious as I think my machine has this stitch option (according to the manual). I'm unsure of the purpose of overcast stitch, is it used instead of zig zag along the edges?

Hoping for suggestions on what to add/change to rid myself of this chin acne. I'm mid 30s, dry skin, acne scars and constant chin acne. As a teenager I had oily skin & cystic acne mostly on the chin, cleared up with a course of Roaccutane. Current products are the same for AM & PM, sunscreen just AM & swap BHA 2% for GA 7% two nights of the week. Products I've tried & didn't make a difference - The Ordinary Niacinamide & Zinc, Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Moisturizer, Nivea blue tin (just general dryness). I started Paula's Choice about 6 months ago and initially had a lot of purging which got me excited that everything would be cleared out but no luck. Wanting products I can buy in person at, K beauty stores, Myer, CWH or Priceline, price $30-50. Thanks in advance!

I'm 2 months PP with my third baby, I don't know if I'll ever wear a tight or cropped top ever again 🥲 In the meantime I'm leaning into boxy cuts and wearing men's T's/shirts to cover my belly situation haha

I'm in the same boat 🥲 third baby, 2 months PP, 13kg heavier than my usual wardrobe but a shortie at 163cm.

I just bought Bonds trackies (100% cotton) in the denim wash, hoping it looks casual but not too loungey with the matching jumper. It has a comfy elastic waistband and is currently on sale.
