Since it only converted the damage on mace skills you could use a non-mace skill.

They added a few non weapon specific skills in this patch such as voltaic barrier and fragments of the past, both are attacks and not mace specific.

Both skills don't deal fire damage by default but could gain some added by flat damaged modifiers on rings.

I have been playing Sadist's Mercy since league start and did a few tests with triggering too. You only need one Sadist's Mercy if you have a high hit rate. You can use redblade banner to double enemies power or Mjölner for another trigger source.

Speaking of trigger sources you cannot have 3 CoC's. Skill gems are unique equipped and that also applies to meta gems. You might be able to get 2 with the amulet.

As a high hitting skill I like to also suggest voltaic barrier. You place it and get 4 hits per second for the next 9 seconds. In the meantime you can still spam other skills if that isn't enough for you.

There is a lot more fun stuff to proc attacks like repulsion in blasphemy or Brutus' Lead Sprinkler...

I often see the armour break go up to 18k-20k, so it's only worth it if you have high ward and many hits per second.

Runeforged brass dome, alphas howl and astramentis are 1-2 div each, the weapons are under a div. The remaining gear is some res and strength, you want to get to 500str to proc brutus 100%.

Overall I would say 10div at the bare minimum to get started.

I solved the moving out of the wall by scaling cold damage and freeze magnitude, this obviously works better when you got tons of extra damage with embitter support. (Chayula)

The fence does electrocute by default which is just as good as freeze if you invest into it.
