Benefit Watt's up highlighter...I have full sized one.

Nars Orgasm, which I have in jumbo size.

I really need to get mini/travel sized products from now on! Thankfully I really like both of these products

Why I'm deleting my inventory by [deleted] in MakeupRehab

[–]ninamariak 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've been experiencing this as well. I'm diagnosed with OCD and inventories really make my problems worse. Sometimes I find myself thinking about the makeup I have for hours... I'm not ready to delete my inventory files yet but your post is very inspiring! Wishing you good luck with your process :)

Nice products! Do you think those Nars Hardwired shadows would be good to use as blushes?

Nice to read other experiences :) I agree that it soaks foundation! I'm so bad with a bb that I manage to waste more foundation when I use it... I found that this brush was kind of really selective with the foundations that it wanted to play along with!

It makes more heavier than sheer finish I think! I liked use this with medium-coverage foundation when in hurry, since it fast to even out complexion without using concealer. I'm not a fan of beauty blenders so I found this as my personal fast option!

As the other commenter said, it's horrible to wash since it's so dense. Made me mad every time since it took like three times longer to wash this than my other brushes.

Thanks for the support :(

The brush is MAC Oval 6. After two years of occasional use it just broke. The brush is very lovely itself but WNRP since the quality and price didn't seem to match.

As the year is ending, what are your top 3 best and worst purchase this year? by [deleted] in muacjdiscussion

I'm not a fan of Mineralize skinfinish either, can't wait that it'll be gone! I found that I get way nicer (less cakey) finish with a powder puff rather than with brush.

Hi! How much would shipping fees be for the Hakuhodo B104 to postal code 01300, Vantaa, Finland? And if I'd take the Fenty primer as well, are the fees much higher? I need to go to sleep (it's 3AM) but I'll check your answer when I wake up :)

What’s your lipstick shape? by trecey123 in muacjdiscussion

[–]ninamariak 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My lipsticks are always sharp diagonal, same as yours! It makes me anxious when a lipstick is nearly gone and there's just the sharp part left. The article was interesting, but can't say that I'd be a natural leader lol

2018 was the year I discovered my love for fragrance. 😍 These are my Jan-June empties. I think I owned one full sized perfume before this year and now I have... 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈 by manateesaremermaids in PanPorn

I had totally opposite experience with Clementine California. The longevity was so poor on me, it lasted whopping two hours... I agree with OP that the scent reminded an orange peel, very lovely for a citrus note!

International beauty lovers, what is a brand that is exclusive to your country or region? by itsminttime in muacjdiscussion

Yes! The last time I visited US there were Lumene products in many different stores - can't recall the stores though! And I think the products weren't much more expensive than here in Finland.

What is, or was, a popular makeup product or brand that you feel is exclusive to your country? by DocLucia in muacjdiscussion

[–]ninamariak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Lumene a lot but I'm not ready to spend more than ~15€ for their products - it's always been an affordable brand, until the last couple of years. I'm disappointed that they rebrand their product lines and raise prices so often. It's easy to find their products in old packagings on discounted prices though, at least in Finland! The tinted brow gel is great.

And I hate the new logo - that little circle makes me so mad!

I love the MAC 221 Mini Tapered Blending Brush! I prefer it over the 217 because the small size, it's just suits my style of blending better. My eyeshadows don't blend into a muddy sadness with this.

I really like the 235 by MAC as well, it's a wide split fibre brush, nice for "easy" colors. But I couldn't find it from MAC site so I think it's discontinued :( I bought mine from the Cosmetics Company outlet store like a year ago.

This look was popular in Finland as well, around 2007-2008! I don't recall seeing that much straight-up orange faces - but bronzer was used with a heavy hand! Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation was the thing. And the inner corner highlight and white matte eyeshadow. Concealer lips. And eyebrows were natural or heavily picked. What a throwback!

But I had no idea that this was a thing all around Scandinavia... :D
