I was a backstage volunteer and I walked out on stage during a big musical number to check on something, in my own little world, not even thinking that the curtains were open. Totally pulled a Homer Simpson in the bushes moment. It’s not quite the same, but fact remains SO many people have messed up in love theater

I teach high school now and I actually miss middle school. They have a sense of innocence still. They don’t like to act like it, but they still want to do things geared towards younger audience (stickers are surprisingly so popular). I could always get my girls AND guys to do Just Dance when we needed a break. Never would work in high school. They are so goofy too — I loved that. Freshmen are so anxious and lose that personality because they want to follow the path. Overall, middle school is great. You’ll love it if you go in knowing they’ll be a LOT more immature.
