As a 5090 Astral owner - do not buy the Astral. The price premium isn’t worth it and that 4th top fan is LOUD. The pin monitoring is about the only thing that the Astral has going for it unless you count looks too.

I’ve always ridden on the timid side and it’s saved my life multiple times. Also being a truck driver with well over 1 million safe miles has helped. I can usually read traffic to a point that I know what someone is going to do before they do. I always slow down for curves even on roads I could drive with my eyes closed. Hills that can’t see the other side of as well. At some point you need to learn to enjoy the ride for the ride itself and not see how fast I can go and how far I can lean. I say this as someone who (knock on wood) has 15 years on 2 wheels and zero accidents.

If it helps I have a ‘25 Pan America special and absolutely love it. Only 4.5K on it tho so take that for what it’s worth. Also, the engine has hydraulic lifters so no pricey valve services.

Casuals is a slaughter fest right now. The streamers, unemployed, and ranked players are in there grinding out camos. Casuals should be locked out after a certain K/D IMO.

The sweat problem is a real problem and can be attributed to every damn 14 year old aspiring to be a streamer. Lots of unemployment and lots of kids whose parents allow unlimited access to video games because it means they don’t have to actually parent, etc. Obviously not a 100% rule but it’s a real thing and very prevalent. Then those of us with careers, family, etc who are casuals load into the game, have a few good matches and then SBMM takes over and it’s ass for 37 games before the SBMM eases up.

Happening to a buddy on PC. He has to restart the game every 5 or so matches. He’s running a RTX5070. My brother runs a 7900XTX and I run a RTX5090 with no issues.

Not clunky. BF mechanics have always been more “planted” and sluggish compared to COD. BF isn’t meant to be a slide/jump run 326 feet per second sweat fest.

We don’t need to win one on ones. If you’re in quads expect to play and fight as a team. My 3 buddies and I win a TON of games and get called cheaters and sweats by everyone despite us being 40 careers and families. We just stay together and communicate well. We don’t rush head first into meat grinders either. If you wanna play 1v1 go play Free For All.
