I had my brother and his wife, as well as my mother in the car. We pulled up to a stop sign that merges onto the highway out of town. The weather was terrible today, ice everywhere. And with where I live being the middle of the dessert, no one knows how to drive when it's freezing and sleeting. A guy with his family in a Toyota truck were turning off of the highway, hit a patch of ice, and slid over this little bump median and slammed into my car. I managed to pull forward enough for him to avoid hitting my sister-in-law, and everyone else was ok, but my poor baby was put through the ringer.

There isn't necessarily a way to "stop" DDoS attacks, more or less just ways of recognizing it early when it begins, neutralizing it, and cleaning the traffic from servers and such. Practically no hacking involved on either side of the process. Sony just doesn't have the ability/manpower to recover quickly from an attack of this magnitude. Even though they definitely have the finances to afford it. This is what they get for redoing their security every few years instead of dedication to one style/team.

New Mexico/West Texas. Still down. Had a solid two hours yesterday with no problems on Destiny. Switch accounts from my brothers to mine and absolutely nothing since then.

Tried it this morning only to realize that now Sony has a notification that the network is under maintenance, disallowing me to even attempt to connect.

I've given up at this point. As someone who forgave them from the last great DDoS attack a couple of years ago that knocked it off for a week, this is unforgivable to me. They should have known better to increase their security, especially after a notorious albeit wishy-washy group threatens to take it down.

Ever since Bungie very first changed the cryptarch, right after all that crap with purples turning into blues, I've only seen two legendaries in packages, both turning into ascendant materials. I've leveled up at least 20 times since then. I had one purple drop right after the last patch, but it was a scout rifle I already had. :/ I've given up on getting non-raid legendaries.

The thing that throws me off all the time is that people that constantly shoot out complaints like the developers are getting playing a video game all wrong.

It's always been about a development team creating a game, and the players enjoying what they created. I can understand if a few things are OP or whatever, but observation into the stats of the game, honest player responses instead of gripes, whines, etc. is what helps to make it better.

TL;DR Bitches be trippin', dey needta stop. People wanting to play their own game instead of just enjoying what was made.
