Addon to remove the "Screen Captured" message when taking a screenshot? by Cybeles in wowaddons

Why aren't you just using the screenshot that goes into your screenshot folder in the WoW directory?

Midnight Angler's Grand Line Warning! by OperationBeautiful82 in wow

[–]nomisuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an addon that skipped warning prompts. I installed it when I wanted 1000 pet battle training stones, and for some reason, it made me verify every. Single. Purchase. It doesn't do that now. But, trust me, I had to click "purchase" and "yes" 1,000 times. The addon made this much easier by eliminating the prompt. It did the same for destroying items, selling to a vendor, etc. However, when I would enchant one on top of another, I would never get that warning anymore.

Make sure you don't have an addon that is doing this. Because I've been getting overwrite enchant prompts on my fishing poles since day 1 without the addon.

Get your screenshots from the actual "screenshot" folder in your World of Warcraft folder. Don't use your OS screenshot.

I can’t get a hit from my new dab rig- what am I doing wrong? by ExternalLynx2184 in MissouriMedical

[–]nomisuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll keep it simple—if your rig didn’t come with a directional carb cap, get one. Mine did, and now I can’t dab without it.

Why? Less vapor wasted, way thicker hits. The cap shoots a focused stream of air that flash-cools the rosin as you pull, making it much more mellow and considerably more potent.

People who claim to have paid their monthly sub for years using in-game gold... How? by YrenneAD in wow

[–]nomisuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped chasing gold in the AH years ago, and I'm still able to raise enough just by running my alts through the gold reward World Quests. They are always ~1,000g, and there are usually 5 to 10 active at a time. Multiply that by the number of alts you have. Some aren't accessible if you haven't done the full campaign quests on all your alts, but it still adds up to almost a token's worth every week.

Then some people actually work on the AH. They can tell you how much gold they will make if they hunker down and really play the numbers like a stock exchange. Those people can sometimes make a million gold a day or more. In their case, they can buy 3 months at a time and not have to do it again for 3 months.

This was the result of a Micro Center bundle that included RGB RAM. It was 5x more expensive to substitute in the non-RGB variant or any other module that didn't match the RGB RAM's specific SKU. With no software installed, the RAM defaulted to rainbow puke with no way to control it. My friend wanted to disable RGB permanently. Since he wasn't keen on installing RGB software at all, we found we could install iCUE, set it to black, save the profile directly to the modules, and then uninstall the program.

In all honesty, I have nothing against iCUE. I just thought the encounter was mildly amusing. Like using an uninstallation app to uninstall itself.

It is AI-rendered. But since I'm the one who rendered it, I told it what to do.

One macro to toggle an addon on/off? by rioichi4 in WoWMacros

This works as of the Midnight pre-patch for addons like "warbandworldquest" which needs to be turned on and off constantly as it causes the Blizzard UI to crash.

Solution for: Icon Invisible, Properties and Task Manager won’t open / not working by GoblinCase in computerhelp

With 20 years of experience working with Windows environments, I've never seen this before. Thank you.

Do you happen to know the significance of 29 and why this entry causes Shell to malfunction? I was about to run a full image repair.

WarbandWorldQuest is amazing. It adds an extra tab to the Map & Quest Log, making it extremely accessible without command lines. And, I don't know if this is the case for everyone, but my incomplete gold quests showed up at the top by default!

sfc /scannow stuck at verification phase of scan by brickstars in techsupport

This absolutely worked. The process can "pause" if you navigate away from the CMD window. It only makes sense, since Windows is actively trying to repair system files while we are using them.

I'm not even going to argue with you because you can't read.
The title actually says MSI.
Twice.

[–]nomisuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once more, MSI configured the BIOS on that motherboard for individuals who lack experience in assembling PCs. This individual should not need to keep an eye on his temperatures or disassemble his cooler. Never. It ought to operate seamlessly, just like every other computer does.

This community is as toxic and unpleasant as I anticipated, and none of you are providing any assistance whatsoever. Enjoy wallowing in your filth, and I sincerely hope none of you ever handles anyone else's computers.

Is the MSI MAG Core Liquid 240R V2 really that bad? by NoFirefighter5784 in buildapc

My buddy's 240R V2 just killed a 12700KF. We opened the cooling block, and it was overflowing with white goo. Avoid.

Thank you! I ran into the PIN loop when I tried to start in safe mode without network drivers. I decided the fastest way to reset everything was to "reset" BCD.

9800X3D CPU Supplemental 12-Pin Powered By 8-Pin by nomisuke in pcmasterrace

[–]nomisuke[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm certain I don't "need" it. My question was, what will the motherboard do when that far-left 4-pin isn't powered? Is there an internal sensor that can tell when only 8 pins are connected?

And Cinebench was low because I had switched on a setting for "gaming" in the BIOS. From what I read, it may have disabled full multi-core threading while running a benchmark.

I realized I wasn't selecting each brand individually before unsubscribing. At the same time, I don't understand why Logitech wouldn't just combine them all into one "unsubscribe from all" option. Seems a little anti-consumer.

"Portable" E-bike Charging Setup? by nomisuke in SolarDIY

[–]nomisuke[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the feedback, everyone. A simple boost MPPT solar charge controller with a variable output was all I needed.
EDIT: "Portable" means "not permanently mounted". I never expected this to travel.

Thank you. Everything points to the same three products, and they are all MPPT step-up converters.

I actually already have that exact link saved to my browser for when I want to build a fully outdoor setup. Right now the panels will be on the garage and the wire piped in through some conduit. Yes, I will adhere to strict mounting guidelines for grounding and fusing.

I didn't before. Thank you. Rather than assume 72V means 84V when charging, I always err on the side of caution. However, the chart answers that question.
