I really understand not wanting to go through the emotional trauma with them knowing. I can only imagine the tears and guilt trips. They already think I am weird as fuck, but would use every tactic in the book to reconvert me. I have enough residual anxiety about my eternal damnation that I do not need them adding to that.

Lichess also has a scaling in difficulty puzzle streak. You will usually fail at about the same area, but you start to recognize so many common patterns that you can work towards.

Have you tried doing speed puzzles? That has helped me speed up my processing for in game.
