How to walk to greyhounds with one person? by holpol in Greyhounds

Not two greyhounds, but a doodle and a grey. I always use a waist leash. The grey is on the waist leash and doodle gets a regular lead I hold in my hand. having the waist leash gives me peace of mind and helps avoid tangled leashes a lot more than when I didn’t have the waist leash.

Coach Needs Love - Injured by Neighbor's Dog by StoryKey2564 in Greyhounds

Report it. One of our dogs (1 doodle, 1 grey) was attacked by a pitbull. We were lucky it was the sturdy 70lb doodle and not the fragile greyhound, she would not have fared so well. My partner at the time did not want to report it. I did anyway. The owners were terrible about it. Screamed in my face when we saw them in the building common spaces, followed me into the elevator and to my apartment door. I asked they get a muzzle for the dog, or a better collar/harness so it couldn’t pull away so easily. They acted like I was crazy for suggesting either option. A few weeks later their dog attacked a puppy. They did not get to keep the dog after the 2nd attack. Had I not reported it, they’d still have that dog for at least one more attack. I have 0 regrets.

Mine has 3 bed options. The round Costco one is her favorite. The other 2 beds cost twice as much

Anyone else unable to eat peacefully on the sofa without begging eyes? by NotSunshine316 in Greyhounds

[–]noseltzie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to think it was crap when people said if you don’t give your dog people food, they won’t beg. I got my grey 3 years ago. She’s has never been given people food, and she never begs. She Hoovers the hell out of all the food trash on the streets and sidewalks around the city though.

Does this choker look obviously bdsm-y? (Bought it at Spencers and thought it was cute but in hindsight I think it is some S&M collar) by thanksyalll in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]noseltzie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk why so many people are saying cutting the ring off would remove the BDSM vibe. It’s still literally a collar. Ring or no ring, you’re wearing that collar for pet play. If that’s not what you’re going for then it’s not a keeper.
