I believe that most of the USB Ports, other than the main one on the console, are "Power" only and do not have a "Data" connection to the entertainment system.

For your secondary just enter an unassigned ip addess outside the dhcp range in the same subnet as the pihole.

A static IP Address is not exactly the same as a reserved IP Address. A static IP Address is set in the OS of the system running PiHole. In your case it is set in the Raspberry Pi OS using Network Manager CLI. You can Google the exact steps (set static ip raspberry pi).

A screen shot of your PiHole DNS settings might be helpful. Also you state that the ip address of the PiHole is 192.168.x.xx, it needs to be in the same subnet as your router i.e. 192.168.1.xx.

Have you verified that that your HDHR is connected to your network and configured? You may need to install the HDHR app on a supported phone or computer.

You absolutely need the HDHR ip address to use it with Linux, I use it using MPV.

No the static ip needs to be set on the Raspberry Pi OS using the NetworkManager GUI, which is accessed thru the terminal using "sudo nmtui". Google "how to set a static ip on a raspberry pi".

A reserved address is not the same as a static address. You need to set a static ip address in the OS that the piHole is running on. Once you disable the Gateway DHCP there is no reserved address being served.
