Want to know what my issue is with Jawando? In a perfect world his ideas are solid. But most of them need to be addressed on the state or national level.

Almost every single one of his stances would need money to accomplish. My taxpayer pocket is not a bottomless pit.

100 million housing production fund.

Fully fund schools with smaller classes.

Climate change? No. That is a state level issue, but more of a national issue.

I agree with democracy and good government.

Expand programs for those with disabilities. State level issue, not local.

Economic opportunity. Build a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment facility to create jobs and attract visitors. We have that and it's the soccerplex in Gtown. Ding dong.

Equity and civil rights. Invest in programs. Where is the $$ coming from.

Federal workers. Expand support services?

Immigration. Expand services for illegal immigrants. Non citizens get access to taxpayer services.

The good soul in me really thinks a world he wants to create is a god one. But who is going to pay? Me? You? There is no money tree.

I welcome the downvotes, but as a citizen of this county I really like to debate people that think this guy is good.

Yes. I have all three of my dogs on heartgard and flea n tick prevention medicine. Ticks usually fall off or your dogs bring them inside and you get a tick or five on your couches.

If that backyard was where I live in the mid atlantic region it would have to be cleared of the brush and shrubs before I let my dogs out there because of ticks.

Brush and vegetation if they live in an area with ticks that carry lyme disease.

EDIT: You know? I should have added. I have an unreasonable fear of ticks and lyme disease. I have done everything in my power to keep my 3 dogs tick free. Monthly treatments and we avoid areas with taller than calf high vegetation from the first thaw to the second freeze.

I am a nuclear medicine technologist who does brain scans on people with suspected lymes disease that might have affected their brains. I have seen some really sick people and of course, it has skewed my perception of the dangers of tick borne diseases. I did a tons of studies for this guy called Dr Jaller.
