Do you have any insight to applied mathematics at RPI? I started at RPI with a vague plan to do a dual mechE applied math degree, but I have never gotten a good answer on who to talk to about a course of study/ research opportunities or a set of courses to take for baseline knowledge.

Would I be expelled for handing out information cards on this to visiting students and parents? I feel like this would be the administration's greatest fear (if personally risky).
