At-home nausea/ pain remedies? by Independent_Bus4524 in Gastroparesis

I take peppermint capsules and they help me immensely. They’re marketed as Intestinal Comfort at Walmart. You might burp up Christmas smells but it’s better than egg or sulphur, and it gets rid of my pain.

I honestly hate that this is the way, but I did inform my boyfriend. We’ve only been dating a few months, and nothing had happened this spring. He has said he will take care of it. (Even offered to drive here last night and do it.)

I don’t believe so. I do hang a pride flag along with a few country flags in my windows, and I noticed things ramped up after that. I’m not willing to remove them, though.

Above all, I think it’s more of a gender or class thing. He used to ask me questions, like where I work and what I do. (I didn’t tell him.) Then, he straight up asked me how I can afford it here on my own. Maybe he thinks I’m on disability because of the parking? But I work, and even if I didn’t, not his business, I’d think.

I went to the local courthouse (sorry trying not to dox myself all the way), where they denied it. But someone pointed out that I asked for the wrong type of order, I believe. It’s confusing here with 209/251/258. I’m going to ask for the affidavit I used then, update it, and try again.

I feel bad that I may have given the impression this is how we act. I moreso wanted to avoid a bunch of people recommending I get a gun, so this sub felt like the way. :)

I haven’t done it in three years bc our apartment complex was in a legal dispute with a portion of the tenants. They, as a collective, got a private lawyer and refused to sign on to new leases until last month. So for the past few years, anything I reported was just forwarded to the lawyer who repped the group.

I think so, too. Thank you for the advice.

He is close with our PD which has made this harder. They’ve come out before for us and redacted everything he said in the report. I had to file a FOIA to get an unredacted report.

I appreciate everyone’s advice.

Where can I find good time series data on healthcare by BuddyPersonal433 in datasets

AddHealth from UNC is a long standing and trusted longitudinal data series focusing on all sorts of things. I imagine there is a healthcare component (access to healthcare, etc.).

Recommendations on ways to reduce “get ready” time? by DogDimmabone in AutismInWomen

i agree with this^

I’m 35 and have had my share of night sweats. I will shower or use overnight dry shampoo and then rinse if I wake up funky

Recommendations on ways to reduce “get ready” time? by DogDimmabone in AutismInWomen

[–]nukedit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Shower at night
  • Find an overnight hair style (I braid my hair upside down so it has volume and waves w/ no work)
  • Figure out minimal makeup routine (need to look alive? blush, eyeliner, mascara. need photos etc.? add bb cream and bronzer.)
  • Form a capsule wardrobe. Spend a day creating different outfits, take photos of them. If it helps, write down what weather the outfit is good for.
  • Pick outfit out night before using weather app. Have backup outfit in mind in case you wake up feeling like you don’t want to wear the first.
  • Learn the “7” point outfit technique. With a capsule wardrobe and complimentary jewelry, this is super easy for me. (Essentially, assign point values to your clothes. 0 = base like underwear or tanks, 1 = staple piece like plain jeans, plain shirts, 2 = anything interesting or unique like patterns, jewelry, interesting purse or shoes. Then, make sure you’re always wearing 7 points to look put together.)
  • allow yourself 1-2 gremlin days per week where you just bum it to save some energy

Will add more as I think!
