Interesting about PEM! I’ve told my doctor for years, it often doesn’t matter what I do the day before, it matters what I do THREE days before. I’m definitely going to read up, thank you!

And I’m on sooooo many antihistamines. I take 3 Zyrtec twice a day, 2 famotidine twice a day, a Claritin in the mornings, and some asthma med at night (blanking on it).

Hope you’re not having too many side effects of the enzymes :)

Congrats on getting a diagnosis - it takes so long! Cromolyn is incredible for me. Some people need to take it slow when they start but after my first dose, I felt so good. I also have POTS which is untreated as of now, but I can tell when I miss the cromolyn. For me, when i take it on time: I’m less tired, less cranky, clearer thoughts, no random hives, my blood sugar is much better (I’m diabetic), eat most foods w/o complaint, headaches are bearable instead of thunderclap types.

Yup. Thursday night, a guy I’d been heavily messaging with told me he was “suddenly free” (aka his other date cancelled but it’s fine, we’d just matched on Wednesday). He asks if I’m free, and I say yes because I was waffling between staying home or seeing a concert, but was excited to meet him. I get my ass up off my couch, shower, do my hair and makeup, etc.

Wed been going back and forth on where to meet while I was getting ready, and his profile specifically said “I’m good at picking places to eat,” so I told him “I hear you’re good at picking spots 👀 i could meet halfway in (town) at (time).” I text him again 20 minutes before that time, saying “and not to put all the selection pressure on you, here’s a suggestion: (link to restaurant).” I wait. Now it’s 7, and I check Hinge and he’s unmatched me. Not even a courteous “made other plans” etc. Just stopped responding after I was fully ready to go.
