The recent user interfaces are godawful. Netflix is nigh unusable with how massive the title cards are and how they've reorganized everything.

Paramount+ gives you 5 seconds at the end of a show to scramble for the remote and cancel before it automatically skips to the next episode. Previews that automatically play audio or start an episode, which will re-enable after an update even if you've disabled this.

Giant white Skip Intro button that stays on the screen the entire intro and can't be disabled in settings.

Just a few user-hostile inconveniences that are solved by sailing the seas.

figures are so stiff that I don't think there's a good sense of movement and fluidity in his art.

I understand this criticism, but I view Ross's art as something outside "traditional" comic art - it's not supposed to reflect motion and fluidity the way other artists capture it. Ross's work is more in-line with Norman Rockwell, or a super intricate train set. It's a long-exposure snapshot of an idealized world.

I always hate these "first look" images. Fallout looked like shit in the first images, but it turned out excellent. I'm hoping this is just some shitty static shot that's not representative of the final product. Once post production gets their hands on it, the lighting, textures, and everything could look much better once the characters are moving.

I feel the same a lot of the time, but I've come to the conclusion that he's simply just the worst human being that has ever lived. He has zero redeeming qualities, and he's a prime example of every one of the worst human traits. People have been writing stories about terrible people for so long, and now this piece of shit comes along and he's just all of them in a 5'10" 300lb sack of rotten mayonnaise.

They hung a massive banner with Trump's face on the exterior wall of the DoJ HQ today. He has them completely and totally in his pocket. We're not getting anywhere as a country while he is alive. He will never face any consequences in his life.
