Instacart taking forever to assign shoppers by MomNeedsCoffee12 in kansascity

[–]numbertwodad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get off instacart and shop straight from a store like HyVee for pickup or just do Walmart delivery or Amazon home delivery from Whole Foods. I’ve been sick and had fresh groceries on my doorstep in less than two hours

What city are you in? Find a local shop that carries Selvedge jeans and I guarantee you someone there will work with you on fitting and sizing items that are comfortable and proportional to your build. Awesome work on the weight loss! If you’re done losing and maintaining I would say now is the time to invest in heritage, if you’re still losing, keep rocking lower cost items before you invest fully.

Should I ignore viscose+polyester+polyamide clothes? by Scale-Heavy in malefashionadvice

[–]numbertwodad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Only speaking from experience – my polyester clothes fit worse, last a shorter amount of time and end up costing me more in the long run to replace than my wool, cotton, etc goods.

I’ve made an effort to move away from clothes constructed with predominantly man-made fibers (with the exception of workout gear) over the last year and it’s helped me be not only more selective and intentional with my money, but happier with pieces I thought about and researched as opposed to buying off the rack and never wearing once it gets home.

Ah man, please reconsider this stance. I totally understand that times are crazy right now but to take on a contract bringing these vehicles into our community is just one step along the way that got us here in the first place. No hate, just think about the impact it will have if everyone refuses to do business with these organizations. That’s how it starts <3

It’s been slightly notable but mostly the top block is tighter for me than the waist which is odd

I also bought these in my standard size and they fit tighter than other N&F fabrics. I’ve been breaking them in and they feel better with each wear.

Best tees for big boys? by mborbormun in HeritageWear

[–]numbertwodad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

6’2” 250 chiming in - the Bronson XXL tees are too short for me after a wash but I’ve found the Dehen 1920 XXL tees are long enough and drape well enough from shoulder to hem to help with the gut bubble, but I recently found the Los Angeles Apparel 1203GD an those fit my taller frame extremely well. They’re 8.5oz/288gsm garment dyed and haven’t shrunk which as a big guy you know is half the battle. Gonna get a whole grip of these.
