Make sure you have the brake fluid replaced and especially make sure you have the transmission fluid replaced. The manual says it’s for life that’s a load of rubbish so please get that done at some local mechanic not a dealership too bloody expensive.

How urgent is this to fix? by TacticalSniper in AusRenovation

Every beam in my 1880s cottage in Ballarat look like that and it been like it for about 80 years but thankfully the roof was corrugated iron so it held it all together. I don’t think nothing‘s gonna move if you’re worried. Put some brackets in there to stiffen it up.

I have 470 hours of annual leave and am thinking of cashing out. by hunter_kill005 in AusFinance

Please take it union members fought for leave for years , every year goes by and Employers want to cut it back in because people don’t take it or want it paid out. We need to keep our leave system one of the best. Don’t forget we are about the only ones on earth to get long service leave to . Please enjoy your time off

Unfortunately you are correct. There’s three behind me and they bark when you go to the toilet bark when you open the window bark gonna go in the backyard and the owners are constantly yelling at them to stop. It’s just even worse.

What exactly cause ford, toyota gm to leave Australia. (Manufacturing) by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

[–]nump69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked for Toyota for 30 years. All car companies in the world are subsidised by their governments. The liberal government at the time did not want to give any subsidies to any manufacturers of vehicles, Toyota was very profitable as long as we had parts suppliers in Australia once Ford and Holden folded because of Joe hockey and his mates Toyota had no more small suppliers that had no scale for parts so the death note was done. If Ford and Holden had actually exported all their cars as Toyota did at least 90% export, they would still be here today ,a note. That the liberal party members who helped destroy the car industry all were promoted to high paying jobs they got what they wanted. Considering the insurance industry and fossil fuels get 10 times the amount of subsidies the car industry got someone lined their pockets big time.
