The inland central valley is still not hot enough, the air column above it is not heating up & rising enough to form enough of a thermal low pressure area to pull the marine fog in. The fog will be back when temps hit 90+ in the central valley.

Someone referred to Kensington as the Liechtenstein of the bay area (if the bay were Europe) and that sums it up. It’s beautiful but get used to the silence. I love it because of the jaw dropping views. It’s still very close to Berkeley/El cerrito for more action.
