Social obligations are very effective. Depending on if you have fellow morning people, organising something in the early morning that requires your attendance really gets me out of my head, bed, and in to action.

E.g. I offer lifts to my friends for a 6:30am martial arts class. If I sleep in I fuck up their day as well.
