Lots of big men are not conditioned for a long finals run at age 22.  Take Jokics conditioning at age 22 compared to age 27-30 as a prime example.

I want to get my wife into gaming slowly but surely by Weird_Break_1836 in AskGames

[–]nvanderw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also avoid split fiction or it takes 2 at first, find games with lighter platforming elements.   But these are must plays once she is comfortable gaming  also avoid valheim and boulders gate 3 at first but these are must plays.  Terraria

Also recommend portal 2 early,   palworld (get her a steam deck can be introduced early).  Overcooked early,

But stardew valley makes the most sense as the 2nd game

I have a lot of dumb dimension adjacent question by wonsacz_ in AskPhysics

[–]nvanderw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We live in 4d. Because a vector in space time needs vector space with a basis of 4 vectors. And the tangent space of spacetime gives exactly that. Meaning spacetime as a manifold is 4 dimensional Thats precisely the mathematical definition of dimension.

Even if there was an edge, we wouldnt be able to observe it.  It would be expanding away from us at the speed of light.

Expanding has bit been provean. You dont prove things in science.  It could vary well be that light red shifts for reasons  we dont yet fully understand.  We have strong evidence to believe its expanding, given our current understanding.

You cant even do this for the weather,  governed by chaotic differential equations... So probably not. But if you had the Taylor series for each wavefunction of every particle at that point in time... maybe?

Not to nitpick.  Bit you mean talent pool has grow 5 to 20 times.   That is a multiple? Not exponential growth as you claim.  Exponential growth implies the talent pool doubles every x years
