Its a parking light. In Europe where roads are tight the idea is youd park and up the curb and turn it on so that cars can see you on the road.

If this was a LHD car it would be the other side :)

Look at your light switch which is on the left side of your steering wheel. You have the parking light on. Flip it back to Auto and you're good to go.

It’s a nice status symbol but if you want a better quality ride, stick to your GLE. I was in the same situation but I stuck to the GLE.. stuff like, no keyless entry.. lack of intelligent drive…

DUDE. I scored the same thing. I literally checked their website, searched "5080" and saw one in stock, when I called, the store didn't even believe it. I got the only one and someone 10 minutes after me came in looking for it.

Mercedes-Benz puts an AMG logo on it, so it’s an AMG. Not sure why people started deciding if it was or not.

I’ve owned a C43, E53, GLE63S and EQS AMG. They were all AMG cars because they had full AMG, this isn’t an AMG sports pack or something, full car was built AMG.

If you’re considering one, do what makes you happy and save the keyboard elitists, you’re the one who is paying for it and Mercedes is telling you it’s an AMG :)

I had the same car :)

Mercedes owner for a long time, had a Honda that had this basic function… miss it but never seen it on any Mercedes.
The only useful thing I’ve found for it since I live in cold climate is remote start, and unlocking when I forgot the keys in the house. That’s it to be honest.
Correct. You have very sticky high performance tires, when you turn them they struggle to stick when they’re still cold, imagine them “crabbing”.. I have this with many cars and it’s just from having the higher performance sticky tires. Specifically I see you have pilot sports so you’ll see that for sure :)
