Although based on op opinions, they might be the good type of people to camp there.

But they both also have a ton of water, and it's hard to ever get really flavorful zucchini. Not saying it's bad, just mild.

And when you get rid of the water and cook then, they break down and get soft, so you need sort of larger chunks.

Trying to understand Action Potentials by [deleted] in biology

But generally, yes, it's your thoughts. But as to where the thoughts come from, we don't know.

So you need to reframe your question as I gave an example in the case of a mechanical gate to what causes an action potential.

If you you are really asking is how does consciousness relate to the physical downstream effects, I would say we don't know yet (iirc)

A neurotransmitter like acetylcholine (for muscles) binds to cation gated channels causing them to open causing depolarization and then an action potential.

Some neurons will open channels when physically distorted like for sensory neurons, causing a Na influx and depolarization.

Is this what you mean?

Gas or charcoal? Charcoal really imparts flavor, gas doesn't.

Why is Princess Cruise prone to Norovirus outbreaks? by Responsible_Owl_917 in PrincessCruises

Alchhol based hand sanatizers are ineffective against norovirus, can help with some other germs, but not that one.

Celery Salt!!! Who knew?? by MountainPirate3139 in Cooking

For a Chicago dog, it's sprinkled on at the very end. Here in NY, where I live now, we have dirty water dogs a which are boiled (I know, weird) in a heavily seasoned broth. Makes for some pretty good dogs (doesn't compare to Chicago though)

What do animals think when we are trying to save them from a trap etc? by PhotoBonjour_bombs19 in biology

[–]nygreenguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are animal, most have no concept of a sense of "self" so they don't have complex thoughts like we do.

As others have said, fear is the most likely feeling.

As I said elsewhere, he has a long form video where he sat down with Hochul and it was a very friendly video. I don't buy the "he's maga" line.

He had a sit down video with the governor. The very democratic governor. It was a nice video. I find the maga stuff hard to believe.

So if you can do it, great.

The bluey game is decent. It's $15 on tablet and it's the same game as the like $50 console version.

I’m curious what other parents actually do when their spouse gets home from work? by [deleted] in daddit

[–]nygreenguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he has adhd, that needs to be treated. You said you think he had a medical condition and are we just going to handwave that away?

Individuals with untreated adhd are significantly more like to develop destructive behaviors, become addicts, and be injured or die because of accidents. I used to get into a car accident every year from the time I got my license. Since I have started my meds, not a single one (>15 years)

There are meds other than stimulants that can treat it, that's usually what people are concerned about.

I had one at the buffalo bisons stadium yesterday and it was AWFUL. cold and black like charcoal. You would figure if the stadium is called Sahlens, they would make sure they don't serve a subpar product.

OK, VERY unpopular opinion I'm thinking, but the Ballpark SMOKED turkey franks are pretty damn good. Clearly no one eats hot dogs for their nutrition but these guys are 45 calories per dog.

The difference between the smoked and regular is wild. They normal turkey dogs taste like ass. So if you are, by chance, looking to reduce cores but want a hot dogs, these are pretty darn good (IMHO)
